One of the Townhall "partners," Corruption Chronicles, A Judicial Watch Blog, printed on 2/14/07 what is apparently a blog entitled "U.S. Opens First Arabic Public High School."
This can be found at http://www.corruptionchronicles.com/2007/02/us_opens_first_arabic_public_h.html
.
It was just about enough to make my blood boil, even though I live nowhere near New York, where the school will be located. Why? Because my father always said "give 'em an inch, and they'll take a mile." That saying fits in a lot of situations, but it particularly fits here.
If the blog can be believed, the "school will open in Brooklyn in September and will serve 500 to 600 students in grades six through 12. Half of the classes will actually be taught in Arabic and all courses will focus on the culture, which heavily features the religion of Islam.... [T]here is concern about the actual curriculum since it will teach and promote the religion of Islam."
If there is such concern, why has this been allowed to get this far? Why has there not been a public outcry about the "separation of church and state"? Is political correctness making the masses mute?
How long does one suppose it will take before there is a new K-12 Muslim public school? Then another, and another, and another? In another state, and another, and another?
How long will it be before there is no separation of "church" and "state"? How long will it be before we are all under the wide umbrella of radical Islam and the heavy thumb of those who are not considered to be infidels?
In other words, dead?
Just something to think about.
